Wood + Zoge Bachi M/L

This wooden Bachi relatively large and is recommended for players with medium to large hands. It is medium heavy and has zoge corners which are extremely durable and give you the most authentic and unique sound of Nagauta shamisen. You have the sound and feel of zoge while paying only a fraction of the cost of a full zoge bachi. I think it’s a marvellous idea!

Wooden Bachi are usually used in Nagauta practice. They’re made from oak wood. Zoge bachi are used for performances and professional players. Wood is super comfortable in your hand and I recommend it especially for beginners. For Tsugaru style the blade can’t take the impact of extended stretches of intense hitting.

Being made of wood, it’s also very easy to adjust the hilt length, width or height in case you want to make it fit your hand even better.
